This Showboat planter is by Natchez pottery, so that explains the “N.” I worked a large production of the musical “Showboat” a few years ago and this was a no-brainer purchase when I saw it.
It’s pretty beat up but it still looks good.

Excellent and unusualas these planters go.
I was in Natchez, Mississippi once when one of my best girlfriends, Lesley Ann Warren, filmed a miniseries there. I got my fill of showboats though never actually went on one. I haven’t even ever been on a cruise.
