   Don’t even ask me how many of these (full) tins I bought in my youth trying to deal with the monthly visitor. They never worked but I used the tins for pencil leads and toothpicks (in separate tins unless I was lazy).

   Ha ha! By the way, I love euphemisms for menstruation, like “monthly visitor.” There was an old sketch at Second City in which a mother sits down with her pre-teen daughter and says, “Every month something wonderful is going to happen to your body. It’s called “the curse.”

   I’ve always found Midol to be utterly useless, but I would definitely buy one of these cute tins.
