Getting to this rummage sale early had its reward. Though all three had minimal damage, we were able to repair them back to new condition. Each one is about 7″ to 9″ long. These became a gift for a friend in Florida, fitting right in with her decor. Hope I can find more Miller Studio chalkware.

Beautiful and beautifully restored. I love the pearlized color on these.

I love chalkware. Though I don’t exactly have a gentle touch and when I buy them it’s from a thriftshop or flea market and the packing isn’t exactly ideal for something as fragile as this. So most of mine are laden with nicks but beautiful nonetheless. I collect mostly anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables and figurine lamps (tho have slowed down on the latter due to lack of space and outlets.)

1968 was a prime year for everything.

Finding chalkware in reasonably good condition is a treasure. Not sure these were ever used, but just stored poorly and stacked on each other. Three dollars was my limit for this set.
