    Back in the day, we use to refer to pointy shoes as Roach killers! lol
    Maybe that was a East coast term?

    I remember wearing roach killers but my favorite shoes back in the day were my “peter pan boots” and my “jellybeans”. I think I was the only guy wearing jellybeans in my area, no wonder they made fun of me on occasion.
