This is a kitschy 20″ wood carved lady, who i think is from the 1940’s. She is painted, and her skirt and hat are the same red and white striped cotton fabric. Her hair is very cool, it’s made from the same material they used to make mannequin hair wigs. I bought her a few years ago from a antique doll dealer, at The Ann Arbor Antiques Market. I could hardly contain myself, I thought she was so cool… She has so much attitude, she could sing backup for the “Pointer Sisters”…smile..
Really unusual and really fantastic! I love that she’s flat. I’m insane about her lips. Her feet are killing me. Her outfit is spectacular. I can’t believe how tall she is. The “jealous button” is definitely being pressed down very hard right now!
Needless to say, excellent choice of Pointer Sisters videos! And there’s no question that your little lady is doing the Neutron Dance.
OMG!!!!!! Wow, this is the most fabulous display of attitude I’ve ever seen! What a fantastic find! Great you posted the link to one of the best songs ever…..
Another big JEALOUSY BUTTON. Love everything about this.
